Transport from the airport to the city center at first may seem impossible for someone from a foreign country. It is very easy! There are many options to choose from. Here are a few of them:
The bus is the first and cheapest option to travel from the airport to Krakow. After leaving the building, you will immediately see the stop, so you won’t have to worry about finding it. In addition, there are vending machines at the bus stop (and on the bus) where you can buy tickets. Most of the machines are pre-paid, but it’s still worth having a few Polish coins with you. The journey to the city center takes between 40-45 minutes. The bus is a good choice if your hotel is in the city center or near a stop along the way. The cost is around 1.5 euros.
It is a very convenient means of transport. Runs every 30 minutes or 1 hour. It reaches the very center of the city (Train Station, Old Town). The cost is around 3 euros. The train journey will take approximately 20 minutes.
