Airport Katowice – Pyrzowice – what you need to know.
The Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice was built on the site of the former backup airport, established by the Third Reich during World War II. From January
2009 also using the name Katowice Airport. It is located in Silesia about 100 km from Krakow. It ranks fourth among Polish airports in terms of the number of passengers checked in and the number of air operations.

How to get from the Airport to Krakow?
This is probably the most important question to ask. There are several options to travel from Katowice Airport to Krakow.

The first option is a taxi that will take you from the airport to your hotel in Krakow. Of course there are also cars for more than 4 people if you are traveling in a larger group. The second option is the bus. Buses have their own timetable and take customers from the airport and unfortunately, take them only to one place – the city centre, near Krakow old town.
