Tour Description
Discover the secrets of Wawel, visit its three most important exhibitions! Discover the King and Queen’s Private Chambers, where you will discover the magic of ancient life. You will also visit the “Kurza Stopka” and the “Porcelain Cabinet”, which is the most significant collection in Central Europe.
The exhibition consists of the king and queen’s private chambers and court rooms, often converted into guest rooms. During the tour, you will admire 16th-century wooden ceilings, stone windows, portals and fantastic tapestries. In the north-eastern part of the building, the oldest part of the castle, there are Royal apartments with a bedroom. During your visit, you will pass through the beautiful columned hall, which served as the king’s private dining room in the 16th century. Today in the hall you can see portraits and statues of Polish kings. During the tour, you will also visit “Kurza Stopka”, a place associated with numerous legends, best described by the official guide, and the Porcelain Cabinet exhibition.
